ABOUT THE ROLE
The Revenue Cycle Specialist is responsible for handling related billing, accounts receivables management, cash and credit processing for all services provided to Primary and Palliative patients.
- PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION; CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN THE STATE OF AZ. OR UT.
- Schedule: “The work schedule will be aligned with Arizona time and will follow one of the following shifts: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM."
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a minimum 2 years’ experience in Athena Revenue Cycle
- MUST reside in Arizona or Utah
- Working knowledge of Athena system
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE:
- Working knowledge of electronic medical record systems
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Attention to detail.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of revenue cycle procedures and relevant rules and regulations.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
