**Job Summary**
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our patients feel at ease and receive top-notch care. You’ll work closely with the dentist and team, helping to create an efficient, welcoming, and comfortable experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Take dental X-rays.
- Record and update patient medical histories.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and organized.
- Manage lab tasks
- Help maintain an upbeat and team-focused office atmosphere.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a dental assistant or completion of a dental assisting program (preferred, but we will train the right candidate.)
- Current X-ray certification (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn, we don't do drama.
- Proficiency with dental software is a plus.
