Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Smoothie Bar associate to join our vibrant juice bar team in an upscale supermarket. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve smoothies, açaí bowls, and other food items according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including sales, refunds, and balancing cash drawers
- Ensure timely food preparation and serving during busy hours
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation of the café
- Uphold health codes and safety regulations related to food handling and serving
- Assist with cleaning duties, including equipment sanitization and maintaining a tidy workspace
Experience
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the food industry or retail setting is a plus
