About Our Family

Based in Castle Rock, we are a bustling, warm household of five, with three beloved dogs and three incredibly loving, kind, and energetic boys (7-year-old twins and a 5-year-old) who make life feel full, lively, and bright. Both parents work demanding careers mostly from home, with occasional extended-hour schedules and travel, and with not all children attending the same school, the rhythm of the house shifts depending on who is home and what's going on.

We are an early-rising, early-to-bed family and care deeply about a well-run, highly organized home and a supportive, consistent environment for our kids to flourish in. While we have a general sense of household order, with three spirited, young kids (two of whom have mild to moderate autism) who all have energy to burn and love to go hard when it comes to play time, three dogs, and packed, and at times inconsistent, work schedules, keeping everything on track has become incredibly time-consuming and is impacting our quality time together.

Although we have house cleaners twice a month, we're looking for a highly seasoned, patient, calm, and proactive house manager and family support person who can fill in the gaps in between starting with creating and maintaining meaningful organizational systems in our home, caring for our children after school through dinner time (including supporting play time and meal prep), tackling laundry, resetting and tidying spaces, and supporting pet care, so we can focus on what matters most to us: having the time to be present as partners and a family and truly enjoying each other's company.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You are warm, grounded, patient, and have experience caring for children with autism. You're firm but kind, consistent, and know how to create structure, set rules, and hold a boundary with care and kindness. You have high emotional intelligence, can easily read the room, and know how to create a calm, organized environment even on the busiest days.

You are highly detail-oriented, organized, self-managed, and proactiveyou notice what needs to be done: kids who need a snack, laundry that needs to be started, and a space that could be tidied and resetand you handle it seamlessly, without being asked. You would describe yourself as mature, reliable, and not easily flustered. Whether you come from a teaching background, have raised your own children, or have years of experience in childcare settings, you bring a high level of expertise, confidence, and steadiness.

Our ideal fit is someone who is comfortable adapting to a schedule that shifts from time to time, naturally anticipates needs, takes professional boundaries seriously, and feels comfortable working alongside parents, thriving in a collaborative, communicative environment. You also have excellent time management skills, can balance competing priorities with ease, and are comfortable taking cues from the family's rhythmsyou know when it's appropriate to step in or step back, and feel aligned with a lifestyle that values calm, positive living. You must also be comfortable and have experience working with dogs (medium and small).
