Job Summary
Sage Hair Company is expanding and looking to hire experienced stylists who want to grow their careers in a luxury salon environment.
We are seeking talented, motivated stylists who are passionate about their craft, committed to providing an exceptional guest experience, and excited to be part of a supportive and professional team. We proudly carry luxury professional brands including Kérastase, Oribe, Aveda, and Davines.
At Sage Hair Company, you won’t be expected to build completely from scratch — we have a clientele waiting for you.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair services including haircuts, blowouts, styling, and special occasion styles
- Perform color services including root touch-ups, all-over color, highlights, dimensional color, balayage, glosses, and customized color techniques
- Conduct thorough consultations to understand each guest’s goals, lifestyle, hair history, and maintenance preferences
- Recommend professional hair care products and at-home routines based on each client’s individual needs
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing a luxury guest experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and state cosmetology requirements
- Support salon retail goals through thoughtful product recommendations
- Participate in salon education, meetings, events, and ongoing professional development
- Work collaboratively with fellow stylists, assistants, front desk staff, and salon leadership
Requirements
- Current cosmetology license in accordance with Tennessee state requirements
- Previous professional salon experience
- Strong skills in haircutting, styling, and hair color
- Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and professional products
- Strong consultation and communication skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships
- Professional, dependable, motivated, and team-oriented
- Commitment to continued education and professional growth
