Pay Rate:
Range $1800 to $2016 weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable
travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Med Surg,
Shifts available: Nights
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
- Med Surg Nursing experience:
Recent/Current 2 years – Required
- Willing to float to similar units (SDU) – Required
- Prior travel or contract
assignment experience – Required
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly
preferred
- RN License for State of MI - Required
- BLS Certifications from AHA - Required
- ACLS Certification from AHA –

Job Description:
- Provide all aspects of Nursing care for
patients in Med Surg, Step Down and float to similar units.
- Establishes a therapeutic relationship and
creates a detailed plan of care with the patient and family, mutually
determining the aspects of care which are most important.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of plans and
interventions to promote optimum achievement of established goals. Initiates
and maintains open communication with other members of the team to assure that
the patient and family receive the full scope of interdisciplinary expertise
and services with a coordinated and integrated plan of care.
- Communicates with patients, families,
subordinate staff and peers to ensure that plans and associated interventions
are understood, operationalized and revised, as appropriate.
- Implements
nursing actions in accordance with established standards of nursing practice
and established policy.
Salary : $1,800 - $2,016
