Pay Rate: Range $1944 to $2340 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable

Local Pay Rate(Locals with 35 miles: $1944 weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week
Local Pay Rate (Locals b/n 35 - 50 miles): $2160 weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week
Travel Pay Rate: Range $2340 weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Travel Pay Rate: Range $2340 weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Med Surg
Shifts available: Nights, Days
Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00 pm - 7.30 am | Days, 7.00 am - 7.30 pm
Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend and possible on-call
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
- Straight Med Surg Nursing experience:
Recent/Current 2 years – Required
- Level II and Level I Trauma experience - Required
- Prior Travel Contract experience - Preferred
Education, License
and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly
preferred
- RN License for State of MI - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- Provide all aspects of Nursing
care for patients in Med Surg units
- Collaborates with other members
of the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an
individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological,
psychosocial, spiritual assessment consistent with patient/significant
other’s changing needs & goals, utilizing the Clinical Practice Model
(CPM) and the “Caring-Quality Model.”
- Participate in patient and family
teaching
- Records information concisely,
accurately and completely.
- Participates in multidisciplinary
treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
