Pay Rate: $2600 Weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes non-taxable
travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Shifts available: Days
Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed, 4 X 10-hr shifts per week, Weekend for call only, 5 to 6 call shifts per week
Position Requirements:
- Current OR RN experience: 2 years - Required
- OR Circulating experience - Required
- Proficient in Ortho - specifically total
joints, hip fx, arthroscopy, ORIFs, and shoulder scopes and replacements
- Proficient with the following: General,
Neuro, Vascular, Gyn, and Urology
Cerner experience: Highly preferred- Prior travel
experience: Highly preferred
Education, License
and Certification Requirements:
- ASN - Required
- BSN – Preferred
- RN License for State of Illinois - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
- ACLS Certification from AHA – Required
Job Description:
- Operating Room Nurses are responsible for performing at a competent
level nursing practice and according to the standards of practice for the area.
- Performs patient care and service through a multidisciplinary team
approach.
- Functions to maintain an environment of caring and concern for patients
and staff members according to principles of patient focused care and customer
service.
