Shifts available: Days
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 x 8-hour shifts, M-F, Weekend TDB, Holiday coverage if required, 0n-call rotation and main hospital
- 2 years current RN OR First Assist
experience - Required
- Meditech Expanse experience - Highly
preferred
- Traveler experience - Highly preferred
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for
this need
- Covid Vaccination with Booster - Required
Education, License
and Certification Requirements:
- BSN – Required
- RN License for State of Massachusetts - Required
- CNOR - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- The RN First Assistant carries out functions that will assist the
surgeon in performing a safe surgical procedure with optimum results for the
patient.
- Assist with surgical procedures in the perioperative setting.
Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care. Manage and monitor patient conditions
throughout the surgical process.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Monitor and manage patient conditions throughout the procedure
