Pay Rate:
Range $2304 to $2520 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable
travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Hospital - Birthing Center
Shifts available: Nights
Shift Timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00 pm - 7.30 am
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 X 12-hour shifts per week, Weekends and On-call needed as determined by the facility
Position Requirements:
- RN experience: 1 years - Required
- Current RN experience with Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Nursing: 1 years – Required
- Experience with C-Sections, epidurals, electronic charting, venipuncture proficiency - Highly Preferred
- Travel experience - Highly preferred
Education, License
and Certification Requirements:
- RN License for VT or Compact - Required
- BLS Certifications from AHA - Required
- AFM, NRP and STABLE Certifications - Required (May be obtained upon offer)
Job Description:
- RN is responsible for assessing the health status of individuals and
groups, establishing nursing diagnoses, identifying and planning goals to meet
health care needs, prescribing nursing interventions, implementing the plan of
care and evaluating and documenting responses to interventions.
- Unit specifics: Level one low risk birth unit utilizing single room
maternity care. Care is provided incorporating Orem’s theory of self-care and
philosophy of family centered care. Cesarean births are performed and recovered
in the Birthing Center.
- Care Specifics: Care is administered on inpatient or outpatient status.
- Patient population: The patient population includes obstetrical
patients (antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum), clean female surgical cases,
newborn stabilization, normal newborn care, pediatric patients during the
Perinatal period.
- Other: Nursing personnel are provided for therapeutic abortions
performed on other units when staffing permits.
Salary : $2,304 - $2,520
