Pay Rate: Range $2232 to $2268 Weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available
for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: ER/ED
Shifts available: Nights
Schedule: 36
hours/week guaranteed, 3 Shifts per week, including weekends
Position Requirements:
- Current ER/ED Nursing experience: 2 years - Required
- Current Acute Care Hospital experience: Recent with past 2 years - Required
- Prior travel
experience: Highly preferred
Education, License
and Certification Requirements:
- ASN - Required
- BSN – Preferred
- RN License for State
of Oregon - Required (Can be obtained upon offer)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Certification - Required (Can be obtained upon offer)
Job Description:
- Coordinates total nursing care for patients in the clinical
setting for ER/ED departments within the RN scope of practice as
defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to
the care of patients.
- Provides teaching for patients and significant others.
- Participates in
treatment team meetings and administers medication and prescribed treatments
- Exhibits critical
thinking and problem-solving skills
- Maintains regular,
consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
- Documents patient care in the medical record.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall care of the patient effectively.
Salary : $2,232 - $2,268
