Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the perioperative process. The RN will serve as a patient advocate and collaborate with the surgical and healthcare team to maintain professional nursing and surgical standards.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across various age groups.
Perform patient assessments and reassessments, including pain assessment and management.
Maintain strict sterile technique and adherence to surgical standards.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, anesthesia, and ancillary healthcare professionals.
Prioritize and organize multiple assignments effectively.
Support a strong team-based approach to perioperative care.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
Current, active Oklahoma RN license required.
OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
Knowledge of sterile technique and operating room standards.
BSN preferred.
Certifications Required
BLS/BCLS
ACLS
PALS
Call Requirement: Must be available for assigned call coverage.
