We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a 12-bed intensive care unit.
Job Type: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Salary: $31.00 – $47.00/hr
Orientation: Every Monday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Manage ventilated patients, critical care drips, arterial lines, and other ICU equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Educate patients and families and provide compassionate support.
- May float to ED or Med/Surg based on experience and staffing needs.
Patient Population / Clinical Experience
Experience with:
- STEMI, post-cardiac catheterization, coronary interventions
- Sepsis, ARDS, DKA, CVA, renal failure, AFib RVR
- Pneumonia, ventilated patients, post-operative patients
- IABP, temporary pacemakers, hypothermia protocols, and critical care drips
Requirements
- 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience
- Current RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- Experience with basic ICU equipment and critical care medications
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Modified self-scheduling with block scheduling options
- Minimum 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- No regular on-call requirement
- No listed holiday requirement
