Pay Rate: Range Annual
Salary - $80,000 to $101,129 depending on experience
Bonus: $15,000 sign-on bonus and $5,250 tax-free student loan
reimbursement (for 2 years). These require a two-year commitment.

and Certification Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
- Eligible for or holds current Occupational
Therapist licensure to practice in the State of Oklahoma required.
- BLS required.
- Previous Occupational Therapist experience
preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication
skills.
- Typing and basic computer skills required.
Position Summary and Job Duties:
- Responsible for developing, administering, and
implementing OT treatment programs for inpatients/outpatients and injured
workers including patients in the skilled nursing facility.
Responsible for appropriate documentation. Supervises supportive OT
personnel. Serve as a liaison upon discharge. Implements
patient care knowledgeably and skillfully, maintaining a high quality of
work performance in all areas.
- Demonstrates
the ability to provide the proper assistance, verbal cueing, and etc.
necessary for optimal performance.
- Demonstrates
the ability to evaluate patients and establish an appropriate plan of
care, adapting the plan of care to patient/caregiver needs and goals.
- Demonstrates
the ability to empathize with the patient and motivate them to perform to
the best of their ability.
- Demonstrates
the ability to instruct patients and/or caregivers in treatment
procedures, home programs, orthotics/prosthetics and special equipment
using clear verbal and/or written instructions.
- Demonstrates
the ability to use time effectively by delegating an appropriate portion
of treatment to trained support personnel.
- Demonstrates
ability to write functional goals and re-assess patient progress towards
goals when appropriate, adjusting the plan of care as needed.
- Effectively
and efficiently document patient performance in medical record per policy
and regulatory guidelines.
- Demonstrates
the ability to effectively review the patient’s chart and
communicate/collaborate with multidisciplinary team members regarding
patient’s condition.
- Assists with
training, supervision, and coordination of staff efforts with assistants,
students and volunteers.
- Demonstrate competence
in preparing and operating equipment for patient care (examples:
HCP, Paraffin, Splinting equipment and supplies, Oxygen Tanks,
Immobilizers, Braces, Orthotics/Prosthetics, Tilt Table and Assistive
Devices to include PT lift devices and Gait Belts.
- Demonstrate
ability to clean equipment according to hospital and dept.
policy/procedures and stores equipment appropriately.
- Practices
effective problem identification/resolution skills as a method of sound
decision-making. Keeps appropriate people apprised of pertinent
issues.
- React and
respond effectively to stressful/emergency situations by adhering to
policies, remaining calm, informing appropriate people and documenting
event.
- Demonstrate
knowledge and compliance of isolation and biohazard techniques.
- Demonstrate
competency by the ongoing and continual care of the patient population in
Occupational Therapy to include the pediatric, adolescent, adult and
elderly patient as evidenced by attached assessment.
- Demonstrates
the ability to provide proper assistance and safety when transferring
patients, asking for assistance when needed, appropriate uses of pt lift
devices and Gait Belt
