We are seeking to hire a Registered Nurse Home Health for in Walla Walla, Washington. We are accepting both local and traveler candidates.Position Details:Position Name: Registered Nurse Home HealthLocation: Walla Walla, Washington Specialty: Home HealthStart Date: ASAPEmployment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, TemporaryContract Length: 13 weeksPay Rate: Range $2400 to $2520 Weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hr work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)Mileage Reimbursement: $0.49/mile for distance covered between patient home appointmentsUnit: Home HealthShifts available: DaysShift timings: 8 Hours; Days, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm  Schedule: 40 hours / week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week, Mon-Fri, One Weekend per month, On-call – 2 shifts per month if required (5 pm to 8 am) Position Requirements:Registered Nurse: 2 years - RequiredRecent/Current Home Health Nursing experience: 1 year within the last 3 years - RequiredOASIS experience - RequiredHome Care Home Base (HCHB) charting - Required Must have valid Driver’s License and Personal Auto InsuranceEducation, License and Certification Requirements:ASN or an equivalent – RequiredBSN or an equivalent – Highly preferredRN License for State of the state applying or Compact if applicable -  RequiredBLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross - RequiredJob Description:Provide and coordinate care for assigned patients in comfort of their homes.Develop and implement nursing care plans for all all types of visits including Start of Care and admissions as assigned.Support patient recovery and ability to stay at home - enabling them to spend quality time with their loved ones and doing the activities they enjoyEmpower patients and families to reach healthcare goals by educating them on disease managementCase management and provide clinical oversight to interdisciplinaryProvide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures.Ensure physicians’ orders are legible if taken verbally and transcribed appropriately per policy and procedure.Ensure patients’ status is assessed on an ongoing basis and pertinent information is gathered and documented.Notify physicians of significant changes in statusDocument and complete charting for all patient visits within 24 hours.Territories to cover: Walla Walla County, lower part of Columbia Co and into Umatilla County 60 miles. They would be assigned to a geographic team and work with a manager and an interdisciplinary team.
