Pay Rate: Range $2000 to $2120 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Mileage: $0.34/mile
Unit: Home Health
Shifts available: Days
Shift Timing: 8 Hours; Days, 8.00a - 5.00p
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week (M-F), Weekends are not required unless the traveler opts to work on weekends. No Call
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse experience: 2 years - Required
- Home Health nursing: 2 years - Required
- Infusion care and wound care experience: Required
- Home Care Home Base (HCHB) Charting experience: Preferred
- OASIS experience: Required
- Prior Travel Nursing experience – Preferred
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
- ASN Degree or Diploma in Nursing - Required
- BSN Degree in Nursing - Preferred
- RN License for State of Michigan – Required
- AHA BLS Certification - Required
Job Description:
- Implements the client’s program of professional nursing service to patients in their homes under the supervision of the Clinical Services Supervisor in accordance with agency standards and policies.
- Initiates and provides medically prescribed skilled nursing care and/or health counseling that contributes to the treatment of the medical condition, achievement of the rehabilitation potential, and/or reduction of pain and other symptoms.
- Makes the initial visit to assess the patient’s physical and emotional status, needs, and resources through observation, interview, and record analysis.
- Prepares the nursing plan of care, in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment, based on problems identified in the nursing assessment and provides patient teaching using the Care Plan/Standard of Care.
- Completes patient documentation and charting on time per client policies and procedures.
- Coverage Area: Bay City region
- Case load: up to 7 visits daily
