Nail Technician / Cosmetologist – Sage Day Spa
At Sage Day Spa, our purpose is to support whole‑person wellness—mind, body, and spirit. We aim to uplift every guest and team member we encounter. We are looking for a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist to provide beautiful services in our Pedicure‑focused Foot Spa. (We currently offer pedicures only, not manicures.) The ideal candidate brings skill, professionalism, reliability, and a genuine passion for exceptional guest care.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of pedicure services
- Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene standards that meet or exceed Idaho state board requirements
- Educate guests on proper nail care and suggest home‑care products
- Promote additional spa services and retail items to enhance the guest experience and support fellow team members
- Stay informed on current nail trends, tools, and techniques
- Communicate clearly with guests to understand preferences and ensure accurate service records
- Process service and retail transactions with accuracy
Compensation
37–40% Starting Commission
- Not required to remain on‑site (though must be available during scheduled shifts, and remaining on-site does result in more booking opportunities)
- No non-compete clauses in employment contract
Additional Pay
- Tips paid bi‑monthly with paycheck
- 10% commission on retail product sales
Skills & Qualifications
- Positive, respectful communication with clients, coworkers, and leadership
- Strong customer service and relationship‑building abilities
- Excellent sanitation knowledge and commitment to safety
- Training in cosmetology or nail care (Cosmetologists welcome—there are several service add-ons and enhancements that involve scalp treatment and scalp, neck, and shoulder massage. Our spa also offers esthetics and full-body services that you would be welcome to do as well)
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Ability to upsell services while maintaining a supportive, guest‑centered experience
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
