Seeking Part Time Retail Sales Associate for Crystal Shop (Mississippi Ave)
Position: Part-Time Crystal Merchant (15-24 hours/week)

We don’t expect you to be an expert—but we are looking for someone curious, warm-hearted, and self-motivated, who’s eager to learn and committed to delivering thoughtful, high-touch customer experiences.
The right candidate doesn’t just sell products—you listen, observe, ask thoughtful questions, and guide customers toward crystals that support their intentions, goals, and personal journeys. You’re comfortable holding space for others while also confidently closing sales and building long-term customer relationships.

- You are curious about crystals, their uses, and their stories—and excited to keep learning
- You’re dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- You think critically, adapt quickly, and can read a room (and a customer) with ease
- Comfortable with POS systems (Shopify is a plus!) and light physical tasks (lifting up to 20 lbs., climbing stairs, etc. )
- You are available to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays
- You have previous retail or customer service experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming, supportive environment where customers feel seen, heard, and respected
- Engage customers through thoughtful conversation, active listening, and intuitive questioning
- Guide customers in selecting crystals aligned with their intentions, needs, or curiosities
- Confidently communicate product knowledge, benefits, and care in a clear, grounded way
- Build trust and lasting relationships that encourage repeat visits and community connection
- Process sales accurately using POS systems (Shopify preferred) and handle cash responsibly
- Maintain store cleanliness and energetic flow (restocking, dusting, floors, bathrooms, etc.)
- Complete opening and closing duties, restock inventory, and assist with tagging and sorting products
- Identify and communicate safety, security, or customer-experience concerns to management
- Demonstrate initiative by solving what you can independently, and communicating patterns, gaps, or concerns to management in a clear and constructive way
- Support a positive, collaborative, and professional in-store culture through respectful communication and teamwork
