Sage Credit Union is a rapidly growing not-for-profit financial cooperative headquartered in Klamath Falls, Oregon. We are currently growing our Administrative Support Team. We are hiring for a BANK SECRECY ACT SPECIALIST in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The Bank Secrecy Act Specialist promotes Sage Credit Union’s Mission of providing our members and communities with the opportunity to prosper by protecting credit union capital and our members’ assets through the administration of the credit union’s Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) program.

Essential Job Functions
- Contribute to the fulfillment of Sage Credit Union’s mission statement by helping members prosper.
- Assist the BSA Officer in ensuring Sage CU operates within the required federal and states rules and regulations.
- Supports the BSA officer with the daily BSA related functions.
- Supports the BSA officer with BSA regulatory examinations and audits and to help corrected any identified deficiencies.
- Assists the BSA officer with implementing processes to comply with new or changing BSA regulations.
- Collaborates with the Fraud Specialist to help with fraud prevention and detection.
- Assist the Administrative Support team with assigned Administrative Support Department functions.
- Take ownership of personal development by proactively participating in training opportunities available both internally and externally as well as participating in credit union functions and community events.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- One year of analytics and research experience preferred.
- One year of related experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Proven attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Excellent technical skills.
- Self-Motivated to learn and grow within the position.
SPECIAL FACTORS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) is necessary.
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching below, at, and over shoulder level required.
- Sitting – 80%, standing, and walking - 20%.
- Hearing, visual, and verbal ability required.

The good faith hourly salary range for this position is $21/hr - $33/hr. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, including bonafide factors, operational needs, and the finalized job description. The hourly salary may vary above or below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
