Billing Eligibility Specialist

Remote position - but must live in Arizona.

SAGE Counseling is actively looking for a full-time Billing Eligibility Specialist to provide support for clients at SAGE through email and phone. This position will:

• Conduct initial outreach via telephone and email to individuals for AHCCCS eligibility assistance
• Provide follow up within 3 business days to individuals not responding to initial outreach attempts
• Conduct AHCCCS eligibility screening through WEAPlus to determine individual eligibility for AHCCCS enrollment
• Provide individual application assistance to clients utilizing the HEAPlus portal
• Document all outreach and assistance in SAGE's electronic health record (EHR) - Credible
• Apply payments as applicable
• Conduct other billing and eligibility related duties as assigned

The ideal candidate for this position is an organized, detail orientated individual who is able to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment, with strong work ethic and a background in office administrative.

Pay: up to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience

This is a full-time position - Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

This is a remote position, and will be provided with equipment to perform job duties remotely. Must reside in Arizona.

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required. AA in related field preferred.
• Proficiency in navigating an Electronic Health Record, and Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Knowledge of AHCCCS and AHCCCS eligibility strongly preferred
• Experience applying payments and working with billing systems preferred
• Prior experience in behavioral health field strongly preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Differential pay offered!
• Strong sense of discretion and professionalism
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to adhere to deadlines
