Residential Renovation Super/Field Construction Manager

• 5 years of residential construction project management experience

Responsibilities:
Project Ownership - Own and Mange project through completion

Oversee or help in overseeing project planning, scheduling, inspections, homeowner communication, budgeting and implementation
Implement and help maintain a Budget and Project Plan

Construction Management Responsibilities:

Project Managers are Responsible for end to end management of the projects assigned to them

• Coordinate with Office manager for Project Trade Partner Buyout and Scheduling
• PO Creation/Review and Tracking
  Includes meeting with and reviewing with trades on site
• BuilderTrend Updating and Maintenance
• Cost Inbox/Bills - Buildertrend
• Forwarding relevant cost items to bookkeeping with cost codes for tracking

Schedule

• Includes 2 week look ahead for Thursday Planning Mtg.
• Includes full schedule maintenance creation and updating in Buildertrend
• Budget

Construction manager is entirely responsible for maintaining budget on their projects

Holding subcontractors accountable to their purchase orders and required scope of work

Insurance

• Holding subcontractors accountable for maintaining necessary insurance

Change Orders (Sent Weekly) - Coordinate with Project Manager

Daily Logs - It is the project manager's responsibility to upload daily logs including at least 5 photos on a daily basis. A video of each job must be uploaded on a weekly basis

Subcontractor Invoices - Submit subcontractor invoices for check processing

Attend and Actively participate in Client Virtual Meetings (assume weekly for all projects)

Final Construction Documents Version control and onsite maintenance of documents

Coordinated with Project Manager for Finish Selection Management and delivery - Meeting with client and providing samples

Building Materials Ordering and Management

Quality Management - Including Maintaining and Implementing QC Checklists for the Field Team

Includes Communicating Quality to Owner

Time Card Management - Responsible for entering hours worked per project into BT

Permit input and Tracking for managed projects including all inspections

Project Labor:

This is a management role but does not mean no manual labor will be completed. As necessary and to maintain a high standard of project control the following items will be part of the job role (Carpentry skills are a plus but not required):

• Resecuring Site Protections materials
• Cleanup around dumpsters and any trash that is left in and around the jobsite
• Pickup and dropoff of project materials as necessary
• Coordinating and occasionally relocating deliveries to protect company materials and project cleanliness
• General Management:

Identify Safety Concerns or learning opportunities to be discussed in Friday AM Meeting

Identify Quality Training opportunities for Friday AM meeting

Production Metric Tracking and positive team improvement

Identifying and helping to implement Sage Construction opportunities for improvement

Team Meetings:

• Every morning the team meets at 6:50am. It is the PM's responsibility to have work to complete lists assembled
• Every Friday the team meets at 6:15am. In this meeting Quality and Safety topics are discussed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,426.17 - $90,000.00 per year
