We're hiring a full-time W-2 Special Education Teacher to provide K–12 school-based services for the 2026–2027 school year. Whether you're an experienced Special Education Teacher or new to the field, you’ll be supported by a team that understands the real challenges and joys of this work—and is here to help you thrive.

Position Details

• Caseload Type: Multiple available - Resource Room, Life Skills, Autism Classroom
• Age Range: K-12 options available
• Start & End Date: ASAP - June 2027
• Onsite Positions

Responsibilities

• Deliver specially designed instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance
• Adapt curriculum and materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Participate and lead IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in special education or related field
• Certification as a Special Education teacher in Massachusetts
• Knowledge in the area of developmental disabilities
• Familiar with special education assessment tools
• Knowledge of curriculum design and development
• Knowledge of MA Curriculum Frameworks and MCAS alternative assessments
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the provision of Special Education and the Special Education process
