We are seeking an energetic and passionate Middle School Teacher to inspire and educate students in a dynamic classroom setting. - Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as math, science, language arts, and physical education.
- Facilitate engaging classroom activities that promote critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, projects, and formative assessments; provide timely feedback to support learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively by implementing positive behavior management strategies and maintaining a respectful environment.
- Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
- Mentor students individually or in small groups to support their academic development and social-emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to develop tailored educational plans and ensure student success.
- Strong knowledge of middle school curricula including math, science, language arts (including Creative Writing), and Bible.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional strategies tailored for diverse learners.
- Proficiency in standardized testing preparation, copy editing, proofreading, and understanding of AP style and Chicago Manual of Style for writing assignments.
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking, parent engagement, and team collaboration.
- Ability to implement effective classroom management techniques that foster a positive learning environment.
- Experience working with children in educational settings or similar environments; familiarity with childhood development principles.
- Skills in mentoring students academically and socially while supporting their individual needs including special education or Montessori approaches.
- Knowledge of learning technology tools to enhance teaching effectiveness.
