Overview
This temporary Environmental Waste Facilitator involves:
-Facilitating cardboard, metal, plastic, drum, and wood recycling through managing the daily process of gathering, baling, getting ready for shipping, auditing, and shipping all recycled material in the plant.
- Facilitating non-hazardous waste material through managing the daily process of gathering, storing, auditing, and shipping all non-hazardous waste material in the plant.
-Facilitating hazardous waste material through managing daily process of gathering, storing, auditing, and shipping all hazardous waste material in the plant.
Role Overview
- Rate: $18.23 - $19.98 per hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 6 AM – 3 PM
- Duration: Temporary (30 – 90 days)
Key Responsibilities
-Follow all plant and company safety guidelines.
-Be present at assigned times for cardboard, metal, wood, and drum delivery.
-Bale, transport, and weigh cardboard for entire location.
-Transport by Forklift and weigh paper for entire location.
-Transport by hand, count, and empty poly and metal drums for entire location.
-Transport by Forklift or Drum Dolley, weight and inspect all other non-hazardous and hazardous waste drums and totes.
-Keep a waste log of what is in the Waste Cage.
-Transport and inspect spent light bulbs for entire location.
-Bale, transport, and weight plastic for entire location.
-Record any pertinent data, as instructed by his/her mangager.
-Use lock out/tag out locks for trailers.
-Any other duties not listed above, as instructed by manager.
Pay: $18.23 - $19.98 per hour
