Material Handler - Machining

Duties

• Safely handle, transport, and organize raw materials, components using cranes and other heavy equipment.
• Operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment to move large or delicate items with precision.
• Ensure all materials are correctly loaded and unloaded in accordance with safety standards and protocols.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation of materials movement and storage.
• Assist with 5S and organization of the machining areas
• Manage chips / coolant and keep working areas cleaned and orderly

Qualifications

• mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation including forklifts, cranes...
• Experience working in manufacturing environments with a focus on materials handling.
• Familiarity with workplace safety regulations including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
