The Opportunity:
This position will be responsible for providing pre- and post-sales support to customers and advising on application-specific deployments to ensure customer success.

Safran Federal Systems provides Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) solutions and custom engineering services to U.S. Government agencies, defense organizations and their contractors. How I will contribute:
- Identify current and future customer program requirements through interactive discussions.
- Provide product, service, and technical information in response to customer inquiries.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions and pre-sales product demonstrations of SFS products and capabilities.
- Lead customer engagements as the application and system integration expert.
- Collaborate with Sales and Program Management teams to grow the business while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Support integration of SFS software and hardware into customer systems.
- Serve as the primary interface between Sales and Engineering teams to address customer needs.
- Perform on-site demonstrations, training, evaluations, testing, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system integration.
- Diagnose complex technical issues and develop solutions to maintain system uptime and reliability.
- Provide feedback to engineering teams to implement design improvements based on field experience.
- Train end-users and internal staff on proper system operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Document field activities, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records for compliance and quality assurance.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 5 years of prior relevant experience preferred.
- Prior military experience or intimate knowledge of US Defense industry preferred
- Experience interfacing with government organizations and DoD contractors preferred
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance (Secret) required
- Requires the ability to perform under minimal supervision remotely.
- Demonstrated track record utilizing superior customer service skills to advance sales capabilities to external customers
- Ability to handle complex problems with analytical thinking skills and engage with customers enthusiastically.
- Demonstrated track record of progressive leadership.
- Ability to travel domestically as needed (30%).
- Ability to be agile and have fun!
