Barista

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Barista at Saffron Café & Bakery, located in North Charleston, SC. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, as well as assisting with food preparation. Additional responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, ensuring product quality, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. The role also involves interacting with customers to create an inviting, friendly experience.

• Strong Interpersonal Skills and excellent Communication abilities to interact effectively with team members and customers
• Experience as a Barista with the ability to prepare high-quality coffees, teas, and specialty beverages
• Customer Service skills to provide a welcoming and positive café experience
• Basic Food Preparation skills and attention to detail to maintain high product quality standards
• Ability to operate and maintain café equipment in compliance with safety and hygiene standards
• Time management and multitasking abilities, especially during busy service hours
• Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or food service environment is a plus
