Safeway Van Lines is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner. You will be driving 2020 Extended Ford Transit vans. This is a non-CDL, local delivery position starting at $20.50 an hour. We are family owned in Arkansas offering benefits, uniforms, and paid time off. We are growing! If you are 21 years old, dependable, hard working, and can lift 70 pounds, we would love to have you join our family! We care about our customers and each other. We are a Team!
Our shifts are ten hour days (9:10a-7:40) with three days off. New hires will have M/T/W or T/W/TH off so weekend & holiday work are required. You will need reliable transportation to the facility at 12401 I-30 Frontage Road Alexander AR 72002. We are open 7 days a week and work in all types of weather and road conditions. Your attendance and driving record must be exceptional.
You will be required to deliver 200 packages a day (20 stops per hour) so this job has a serious pace that must be maintained across a ten hour period. You must be able to walk 6 miles a day and get in and out of a van 150 times a day. Previous delivery experience and/or knowledge of Little Rock and surrounding areas are a plus.
The master aptitudes for this position are hustle, strong organizational skills, proficient using GPS directions, and the ability to read maps when another route/path is required.
