We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and other floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed, including equipment sanitation and deep cleaning procedures
- Assist with custodial responsibilities such as restocking supplies and maintaining cleaning equipment
- Support facilities maintenance activities when required, including minor repairs or reporting issues for further action
- Ensure all areas are safe, clean, and organized in accordance with health and safety standards
- Perform residential painting or related touch-up work as needed to support facility upkeep
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is advantageous
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may include lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
