The PPE Lab Technician is responsible for conducting material and electrical testing on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and related test equipment in accordance with ASTM standards. This role supports the daily operations of the PPE Lab, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with established protocols.
Essential Functions
· Set up and operate test equipment to perform electrical testing per ASTM standards.
· Demonstrate a willingness to learn and perform all functions within the scope of work.
· Participate in daily lab operations, including safety briefings, equipment maintenance, and timely completion of tasks.
· Accurately record and document test results using required forms and systems.
· Conduct inventory counts for internal and customer stock.
· Follow all safety protocols and operational standards.
· Assist with PPE warehouse organization, maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
· Communicate effectively with team members and management.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
