Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes and mills to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accurate dimensions
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Make adjustments to machines as needed for proper operation
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating manual machines such as lathes, mills & vertical grinders
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision measurements using micrometers
