Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Safety Supervisor position located in Kenosha, WI. The Safety Supervisor will oversee safety programs and protocols, provide training to employees, and ensure regulatory compliance at the worksite. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting safety audits, identifying and addressing workplace hazards, performing accident investigations, and developing measures to mitigate risks. The Safety Supervisor will serve as a key liaison between management and employees on all safety-related matters.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
- Minimum 5 years of safety supervision experience on construction sites
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- Experience working in heavy industrial and/or commercial construction environments preferred
- Experience in Safety Training and developing effective safety protocols
- Knowledge of Safety Engineering principles and their application in workplace environments
- Proficiency in Accident Investigation processes to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Strong communication and leadership skills to foster a culture of safety
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable plans based on findings
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
- A bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CSP, or CHST are a plus
