What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructor position at Safety Reloaded?
Safety Reloaded is looking for a dependable, professional instructor to support training in the Bowling Green area.
This is a contractor (1099) role ideal for someone who is self-motivated and comfortable working independently while representing an established training brand.
What You’ll Do:
-Lead firearms and/or self-defense training classes using provided curriculum
-Deliver safe, structured, and engaging instruction to students of varying experience levels
-Maintain a professional, approachable environment during all classes
-Coordinate scheduling and communicate with students as needed
-Represent Safety Reloaded with professionalism and consistency
Requirements:
-21 years of age or older
-No felony convictions (background check required)
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Self-starter with the ability to operate independently
-Reliable transportation and punctuality
-Ability to manage small groups in a training environment
Preferred (Not Required):
-Prior firearms instruction experience
-Current or previous instructor certifications (NRA, USCCA, etc.)
-Experience teaching new shooters or mixed-skill groups
-Familiarity with Kentucky firearm laws and safety practices

Compensation:
-Per-class contractor pay (based on experience and class size)
