Job description
We are a consulting firm based in Southern Wisconsin that does on-site safety for construction projects and general industry. This involves employee training, site safety auditing, investigations, paperwork, and resolving customer needs.
We did not invent Safety and therefore the ideal applicant will need to be very likable, courteous, professional, and able to deal with people at all levels.
Our work activities are dependent on the current list of customers - which can be a mix of both construction and general industry. Days on a construction site may be 10 hours (depended on customer needs). Safety training and the ability to present effectively is a very large part of our job and it's expected that you can easily do common safety subject presentations.
When a schedule is sent, you'll be expected to be prepared and set up before the training class for the customer needs and start time(s). When there is no work scheduled, we typically work from home or flex the schedule for time off. Nobody in the company reports to an office. Therefore, we communicate often, and good communication skills are a must. *To succeed within our organization, an employee must be a self-starter who gets their work completed with little to no direct Supervision. *
This is a dynamic, fast paced position, there are times you may move from one customer to another. If you live in Southern Wisconsin or Northern Illinois, you live in the right place and will easily be able to drive to customers. Start times can be very early in the morning and sometimes (very rarely) late at night. If there are further away places or places with early start times; we pay for hotels. When you're driving, you're being paid to drive and you're driving a company car (Not a Ford Pinto).
Lastly, here at Safety Management & Training, we enjoy coaching and providing a platform for safety minded people to prosper. We will train you and have material available for you to reference and use. You're also expected to share ideas and material with the rest of the team to make us better.
Pay is based on experience and education. We provide all needed equipment to succeed: computer, printer, projector, projector screen, office supplies and a company vehicle.
The best applicant will be a genuinely nice person with good people and communication skills that have a degree or are highly experienced in Construction and/or General Industry.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year (based on expereince)
