Job Desription:
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Paramedic to support an occupational medicine clinic located on an active industrial pipeline construction project. The successful candidate will provide on-site medical care, injury assessment, first aid, emergency response, and occupational health support for construction personnel working in a demanding industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical response and stabilization of injured or ill workers.
- Conduct occupational health assessments and evaluate work-related injuries.
- Deliver first aid and basic clinical care within the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate patient care reports and medical documentation.
- Conduct health screenings and vital sign assessments as required.
- Ensure medical equipment, supplies, and emergency response resources remain operational and stocked.
- Support site safety initiatives and participate in emergency preparedness planning.
- Coordinate with project management, safety personnel, and external healthcare providers when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Current Paramedic certification/licensure.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and other applicable certifications.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote industrial setting.
- Occupational medicine, construction, industrial, or remote-site medical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA and workplace health and safety practices is an asset.
Shift: 14 days on, 14 days off
