Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Route Driver role located in Independence, MO. The Route Driver will be responsible for transporting materials, driving commercial trucks along assigned routes, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products and services. The role involves maintaining a high level of customer service, addressing client needs during pickups and deliveries, and adhering to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Additional responsibilities include vehicle inspections and ensuring the safe handling of materials during transport.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid CDL Class B license and experience operating commercial trucks
- Proficiency in truck driving and the ability to perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to comply with safety standards, transportation regulations, and company protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a similar role is a plus
- Ability to lift and move materials as required by the job
- Commitment to punctuality, attention to detail, and problem-solving
