Role Description The Material Handling & Assembly Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Exton, PA. This role is responsible for assembling mechanical components of ladder lifts and related accessories using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment according to specifications and work instructions. Daily tasks include preparing parts, performing mechanical assembly operations, checking fittings and alignments, and conducting basic quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards. The technician will also assist with material handling, such as organizing components, moving products through different stages of production, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Collaboration with production team members and supervisors to meet daily output and safety goals is an important part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in using hand tools and power tools for safe, accurate assembly work.
  • Candidates should possess skills in mechanical assembly and basic soldering for building and connecting product components.
  • Candidates should possess skills in quality control, including visual inspection and measurement checks, to ensure product standards are met.
  • Relevant skills such as reading assembly drawings or work instructions, basic mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with manufacturing or warehouse environments are beneficial.
  • Ability to stand, lift, and move materials as needed, follow safety guidelines, and work effectively as part of a production team is required.
