Overview
Safety First Security & Investigations (SFSI) is hiring experienced Unarmed and Armed Security Officers for part-time floater positions in the Golden Triangle area, including Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange. This role involves providing flexible coverage across various job sites, ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ people and property.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential security threats.
- Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety compliance.
- Use a smartphone to prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure public safety.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
Requirements:
- Active Guard License (Required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Smartphone required for observation logs and reporting.
- Preferred: TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
- Must be dependable, professional, and flexible to adapt to different assignments.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Schedule:
- Part-time with flexible hours.
- Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
