Project Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role located in NYC Area.

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, staffing, service quality, and client expectations across a portfolio of school locations. This is a highly demanding, fast-paced role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once while ensuring each school receives consistent, professional, and responsive service.

The Project Manager will serve as the main point of contact for school administrators, internal operations teams, field staff, and support departments. This role requires someone who can remain calm under pressure, respond quickly to urgent issues, manage call-outs and staffing gaps, follow up on client requests, and ensure that all services are delivered according to company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across multiple school locations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and school clients.
• Respond promptly to client calls, emails, concerns, and service requests.
• Handle employee call-outs, coverage issues, schedule changes, and staffing needs.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor service quality, employee performance, and client satisfaction.
• Ensure employees are properly assigned, trained, uniformed, and following site expectations.
• Address performance concerns, attendance issues, and conduct matters in coordination with HR and Operations.
• Maintain detailed records of site visits, client communications, employee issues, and follow-up actions.
• Support special events, school activities, coverage changes, emergencies, and last-minute operational needs.
• Communicate clearly with field supervisors, employees, HR, payroll, recruiting, and senior leadership.
• Ensure company policies, safety standards, and client-specific procedures are followed.
• Identify operational risks, service gaps, and staffing concerns before they escalate.
• Provide consistent follow-up to ensure issues are resolved fully and professionally.

Role Expectations

This is not a desk-only position. The Project Manager must be visible in the field, accessible to clients, and prepared to respond to urgent matters as they arise. The role requires flexibility, accountability, and strong follow-through, especially during early mornings, school openings, dismissals, special events, and unexpected staffing challenges.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a high-pressure environment where priorities can change quickly. Success in this role requires strong organization, sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to balance client expectations with employee management and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Strong skills in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing complex projects
• Prior experience in operations, facilities, security, custodial services, school support services, or related field preferred.
• Strong client service and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong follow-up, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle urgent issues, employee call-outs, and client concerns professionally.
• Comfortable working in a field-based, fast-paced, and demanding environment.

The Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that each school location is properly staffed, supported, and serviced while maintaining strong client relationships and operational excellence.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $91,000K (depends on experience)
