What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Coordinator position at Safety Excellence Group?
Safety Excellence Group is looking for a Field Safety Professional to join one of the largest semiconductor construction projects in U.S. history.
The Project:
Arizona Semiconductor Site - a $165 billion investment reshaping American semiconductor manufacturing. This isn't a generic construction site. This is history being built.
The Role:
You'll be 80% in the field, 20% in the office. We don't hire clipboard carriers - we hire safety professionals who earn their seat at the table.
What You'll Actually Do:
- Walk the site daily - your presence IS the value
- Identify hazards before they become incidents
- Coach crews, not police them
- Build relationships with subcontractors and client leadership
- Deliver 3 visible wins in your first 10 days
What We're Looking For:
- 2 years construction safety experience (semiconductor/cleanroom a plus)
- OSHA 30 minimum (CHST/ASP preferred)
- Someone who understands: a fly on the wall is a dead fly
- Available to start immediately
- Willing to work 50 hrs/week in Phoenix, AZ
What We Offer:
- W2 - Full Time, PTO, Holidays
- BCSP certifications paid in full (ASP, CSP, CHST)
- Columbia State University partnership - 10% tuition discount
- Direct access to leadership - you're not a number here
- Path to team lead as the project scales
The S.E.G. Difference:
We're a consulting firm, not a body shop. Our consultants are embedded partners who make clients say "I want that person on my next project.
