Role Description This full-time, on-site Traveling Safety Professional role is based in Indianapolis, IN and requires regular travel to client and job sites. The Traveling Safety Professional will conduct safety audits, inspections, and field observations to ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and other applicable regulations. Responsibilities include delivering safety training, toolbox talks, and orientations; coaching field personnel and supervisors on best practices; and supporting the development of a positive safety culture at each location. The role involves performing incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes, recommending corrective actions, and preparing clear, timely reports and documentation. The Traveling Safety Professional will also assist in updating safety programs and procedures, collaborating with management and field teams to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations and standards.
- Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), including implementing site-specific safety programs and conducting risk assessments.
- Proficiency in Safety Training, including delivering OSHA-based courses, toolbox talks, and hands-on field instruction.
- Experience in Accident Investigation, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and development of effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Ability to travel frequently to various job sites and work in field environments, sometimes in varying weather and site conditions.
- Effective communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams at all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including accurate recordkeeping and report writing.
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, or equivalent are preferred; additional safety or EHS credentials are a plus.
- Experience in construction, industrial, or related field environments preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
