Safety Consultants USA, Inc. is currently seeking to hire contract-based Project Safety Professionals for various projects throughout the United States. The Project Safety Professional will be responsible for the overall administration of the Safety Guidelines on the assigned project.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company best practices.
Monitor safety efforts of contractor employees.
Act as the safety liaison with the General Contractor and the client.
Conduct safety incident investigations and complete associated reports.
Conduct toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and safety training sessions.
Perform all duties in accordance with Environmental, Health, and Safety Guidelines.
Complete PTPS, JHA, permits, and other safety documentation.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Must have a current OSHA 500.
Must hold a current CHST.
Must have 5 - 7 years’ experience in the environmental health and safety field.
Prefer electrical experience.
Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, emergency response, and incident management.
Must have excellent writing skills.
Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check.
Prefer bilingual, English/Spanish.
