Construction General Laborer
Safety Beyond Borders Group LLC is hiring dependable Construction General Laborers for immediate placement on a project in Taylor, Texas. Candidates who meet hiring requirements may be able to start as soon as possible.
Pay and Schedule
- $20.00 per hour
- Paid weekly
- Anticipated schedule: 40 hours per week
- Overtime may be available based on project needs and must be authorized
Responsibilities
- Perform general construction labor and job-site support tasks
- Assist crews, trades, and site personnel as needed
- Clean and maintain work areas, walkways, and common job-site areas
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials and tools
- Work safely around heavy equipment and active construction operations
- Follow SBB safety procedures, client-site requirements, and supervisor instructions
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the project
Qualifications
- Prior construction or general labor experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow safety procedures and communicate effectively with the crew
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check and negative drug-screen result, as permitted by applicable law
