Duties
- Support auto glass technicians in removing and installing windshields and side windows using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with vehicle preparation, including cleaning and detailing to ensure proper fitment and finish
- Handle heavy lifting of glass components safely, following proper procedures to prevent damage or injury
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored
- Assist in basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, minor repairs, and assembly of glass components
- Follow safety protocols during all tasks to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and the team
Experience
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with auto glass installation, auto body repair, or mechanical work is a plus
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and automotive assembly processes is beneficial
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience will help you excel in this role
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills related to automotive repair and glass installation
