SafeRacks is a Veteran owned manufacturer of high-quality overhead garage storage racks for the home garage. We partner with local handymen to provide installation services to our customers.

Independent Contractor wanted
We are a nationwide, residential garage storage rack company and we are seeking a part-time installer for 1 or 2 days per week. The work includes installation of overhead storage racks and wall shelves for our customers in the Richmond area and surrounding suburbs. This position is for part-time, independent, installation work. You must have your own tools to accomplish the job. (Independent contract work, you will be paid per job *60 dollars per rack installed* (everyday by the customer Thru Stripe)
Minimum Tools Required to Apply:
- Reliable Truck or Van
- ladder (must be able to install in at least 12ft ceilings)
- Usual Standard tools: Hammer, Screw driver, Flathead, etc...
- Cordless drill/driver
- Stud Sensor
- Smart phone internet connected, tablet or laptop (Iphone or Android to run Company Field Software)
- General liability insurance policy
Skills Required to Apply:
- Good attitude with references
- Excellent driving record (will be checked prior to hiring)
- Handyman or trade experience helps, but we have had many talented people learn this skill without prior experience
- Able to use Google Calendar and have your own mobile internet access
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Customer interaction experience. Able to work with and satisfy customer needs and communicate with the corporate office.
This is one man work; teams and full-service companies need not apply.
