Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Account Manager specializing in Managed Service Provider (MSP) and IT Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing existing client relationships, delivering structured Business Reviews, and ensuring clients receive measurable value from their technology investments.
This is a client-facing, relationship-driven role where organization, follow-through, and proactive communication are critical. You will work closely with internal teams to maintain strong client satisfaction while identifying opportunities for account growth.
This role requires prior experience in an MSP or IT services environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact
- Conduct regular Business Reviews to present performance metrics and align services with client goals
- Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Collaborate with service and technical teams to ensure timely resolution of client issues
- Monitor service tickets, projects, and overall account health to ensure proactive communication
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records within CRM systems
- Schedule and lead regular client check-ins to address ongoing initiatives and feedback
- Prepare proposals and recommendations aligned with client needs and business objectives
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in account management or client-facing role
Required:
- Experience working within an MSP or IT services environment
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively
- Ability to present business insights and performance data to clients
- Experience with CRM platforms (ConnectWise, Autotask, Salesforce, or similar)
- Understanding of IT service delivery concepts and client environments
- Self-starter with a proactive approach and strong follow-through
Compensation:
Base Salary:
- $65,000 – $90,000
Commission Structure (High-Level):
- Commission earned on recurring services, product/service sales, and labor
- Commission is tied to successful completion of Business Reviews and account engagement

Work Environment:
- First 90 days: Fully onsite in Palatine, IL
