We are hiring a dependable CDL-A regional driver for no-touch corrugated freight throughout the Northeast and select additional states.
Drivers primarily bump docks with lightweight cardboard and corrugated products. Most freight is handled by a lumper service, and the driver is not responsible for unloading the product.
Pay and earnings
$0.80 per mile.
Approximately 1,500 - 2,000 miles per week.
Average gross weekly pay of $1,300 - $1,500.
Average length of haul: approximately 450 - 500 miles round trip.
Approximately one to two stops per load.
Operating area
Operating area: NY, CT, RI, MA, ME, VT, NH, OH, NC
Home time and schedule
Regional operation with weekly home time.
Most drivers are home on weekends for at least their 34-hour reset.
When freight and Hours of Service permit, many drivers may also get home for a 10-hour break one or two nights during the week.
Freight and deliveries
Corrugated and cardboard products.
Lightweight freight.
Primarily food-service customers.
Pizza-box deliveries are common.
