Responsibilities:
- Safely operate shuttle buses and passenger vehicles along designated routes in and around Elk Grove, CA
- Transport passengers in a courteous, timely, and professional manner
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Assist passengers with boarding, seating, and disembarking as needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies
- Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and passenger manifests
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or incidents
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement required
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
- Must meet DOT physical and medical certification requirements
- Previous experience operating shuttle buses, passenger vans, or transit vehicles preferred
- Strong knowledge of local Elk Grove and Sacramento area roads and traffic patterns
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
