Mission of the Role
Drive immediate and repeatable revenue by selling Safeguard Analytics’ hardware solutions (sensors, transmitters, POD systems) into industrial markets—primarily oil & gas, energy, and environmental monitoring—by building strong relationships with Customers (distributors, integrators, operators, etc.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Sales 3-10 years experience, familiarity with Sales practices, experience in gas detection/instrumentation and industrial applications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to build relationships, address client needs, and convey technical concepts
- Ability to close capital equipment deals, sell industrial environments, and navigate technical buyers.
- Strong technical aptitude; can explain sensors, systems, and deployments while articulating the value proposition.
- Experience in conducting client Training sessions and educating customers on product use and benefits
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally for client visits and meetings
Compensation Structure:
- Base Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
- Commission: % of Hardware revenue
- Bonus for: Landing new accounts, multi-site deployments, integration partnerships
- Accelerators: for exceeding quota

- Monthly/Quarterly HW Revenue
- Pipeline Value (3-5x quota)
- Number of new accounts opened
- Number of integrator partnerships
- Average deal size
