What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Plumber (PL02) position at SafeConnect Compliance?
About the Position
RJC is seeking a Washington State licensed PL02 Journeyman Plumber to join our Utility Connection Program serving Seattle and the surrounding Puget Sound area. This is a full-time position performing dishwasher installations only for major national appliance retailers.
Unlike traditional plumbing jobs, this role does not involve drain cleaning, service calls, water heaters, repipes, remodels, emergency calls, or new construction. You'll perform straightforward dishwasher installations while ensuring every installation meets Washington plumbing code and RJC quality standards.
If you're looking for steady, predictable work without the physical demands and stress of traditional residential plumbing, this is an excellent opportunity.
Compensation
- Hourly, $36.50-43.27 (depending on experience)
- Full-time, year-round work
Responsibilities
- Install residential dishwashers in homes throughout the Seattle metropolitan area and surrounding communities.
- Complete water supply, drain, and air gap connections in accordance with Washington plumbing code.
- Verify proper operation and inspect all connections for leaks.
- Ensure every installation meets company quality and safety standards.
- Document completed work using a company mobile application.
- Provide courteous, professional customer service.
- Follow all RJC installation procedures and compliance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with fellow employees to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Maintain a positive attitude, professional appearance, and represent RJC with integrity at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current Washington State PL02 Journeyman Plumber License (Required)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (if required)
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for work documentation
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
This is not your typical plumbing job.
Instead of spending your day responding to emergency calls or troubleshooting difficult plumbing issues, you'll perform one type of installation repeatedly, allowing you to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Enjoy:
- Consistent full-time hours
- No emergency or after-hours service calls
- No drain cleaning or repair work
- Straightforward dishwasher installations
- Regular daily workload
- Independence with the support of a professional operations team
Schedule
- Full-time
